These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Urban Ummati website, online store, products and related services.

Urban Ummati is operated by Zaynaab Inc.

Throughout these Terms, “Urban Ummati,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Urban Ummati and Zaynaab Inc. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing the website or purchasing from us.

By visiting our website, submitting information, placing an order or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our:

Please read these Terms carefully before using the website or placing an order.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to place an order through our website.

Where a purchaser is under the age of majority in their province or territory, the purchase must be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

You agree that the information you provide during checkout is accurate, complete and current.

3. Canada-Only Store

Urban Ummati currently accepts and fulfils online orders only for eligible delivery addresses within Canada.

We do not currently offer online shipping to the United States or other international destinations.

Orders placed using an unsupported, freight-forwarding or otherwise ineligible address may be declined or cancelled.

4. Products

Urban Ummati offers Islamic-inspired wall art, home décor and related products.

Some products may be:

Limited-release
Produced in small quantities
Hand-finished
Fragile
Made using natural or layered materials
Available only while inventory lasts

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display products accurately. However, actual colours, finishes and textures may vary depending on:

Screen and device settings
Lighting conditions
Material variation
Natural wood grain
Production or hand-finishing differences
Photography and image processing

Minor natural or handcrafted variations are not ordinarily considered defects.

Product dimensions and specifications are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to a cart does not reserve inventory.

We may limit quantities purchased by an individual, household, address, payment method or order where reasonably necessary to:

Protect limited inventory
Prevent resale or abuse
Address suspected fraud
Correct technical or inventory errors
Ensure fair access to a limited release

If an ordered item becomes unavailable, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include cancellation and refund.

6. Prices and Currency

Unless clearly stated otherwise, all prices displayed on the Urban Ummati Canadian store are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

The current Rabbana Atayna – Charcoal Edition launch price is $199 CAD, before applicable sales tax.

Applicable federal and provincial sales taxes are calculated and added during checkout based on the delivery destination and our tax obligations.

Complimentary tracked shipping is included for eligible Canadian orders under the current launch offer.

We will not add an undisclosed mandatory Urban Ummati fee after advertising a product price. Government-imposed taxes may be added as required.

7. Pricing and Listing Errors

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, prices, inventory and other information are accurate.

Occasionally, information may contain:

Typographical errors
Incorrect prices
Inaccurate product descriptions
Inventory discrepancies
Technical errors
Omissions

If an obvious pricing, inventory or product-information error affects an order, we may contact you before fulfilment to explain the issue and offer an appropriate option, including:

Confirming the corrected information
Allowing you to cancel
Cancelling and refunding the affected order

We will not knowingly fulfil an order based on an obvious technical or pricing error where doing so would be unreasonable.

8. Orders

When placing an order, you agree to provide accurate:

Email address
Telephone number
Billing information
Shipping address
Payment information

You are responsible for reviewing the order and correcting errors before completing checkout.

After an order is submitted, Shopify may send an order confirmation acknowledging receipt of the order.

We may review an order before fulfilment for payment authorization, inventory, address accuracy, suspected fraud or other legitimate operational concerns.

We may decline or cancel an order before fulfilment where:

Payment is declined or cannot be verified
Inventory is unavailable
The delivery address is unsupported or incomplete
The order appears fraudulent or abusive
A material pricing or listing error occurred
The order violates these Terms
Fulfilment is not reasonably possible

If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

9. Payment

Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment methods made available during checkout.

You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method selected for:

Product price
Applicable sales tax
Any customer-requested service agreed to before payment
Any other amount clearly disclosed and accepted during checkout

Urban Ummati does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers processed through Shopify Payments or another authorized payment provider.

Payment authorization may be declined by the card issuer, financial institution or payment provider.

10. Fraud Prevention and Verification

We may use automated and manual fraud-prevention measures.

Where reasonably necessary, we may request additional information to verify:

The purchaser
The billing address
The shipping address
Payment authorization
The legitimacy of the transaction

We may delay, decline or cancel an order where verification cannot reasonably be completed or where fraud is suspected.

We will handle any personal information used for verification in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Order Cancellations

To request cancellation, contact social@urbanummati.store as soon as possible.

Cancellation is not guaranteed after an order has entered:

Processing
Packaging
Fulfilment
Production
Carrier collection
Shipping

Where cancellation remains operationally possible, we will cancel the order and issue any applicable refund to the original payment method.

Custom, personalized or made-to-order products may not be cancellable after production has begun.

12. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy.

Urban Ummati currently provides complimentary tracked shipping for eligible Canadian launch orders.

Processing and delivery times are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.

Customers are responsible for:

Providing a complete and accurate delivery address
Monitoring tracking information
Receiving or collecting the package
Contacting us promptly about address errors or delivery concerns

Urban Ummati will reasonably assist with carrier investigations, damaged shipments and lost-package claims in accordance with the Shipping Policy.

13. Returns, Refunds and Damaged Products

Returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations and damage claims are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Eligible standard products may generally be submitted for return approval within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions in that policy.

Shipping damage should be reported within 48 hours of delivery, together with the requested photographs and documentation.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable consumer-protection law.

14. Discounts and Promotional Offers

Discounts, promotional codes and special offers may be subject to:

Eligibility requirements
Product exclusions
Minimum purchase requirements
Expiry dates
Quantity limits
Geographic restrictions
One-use restrictions
Other clearly disclosed conditions

Unless expressly permitted:

Discounts cannot be combined
Discounts cannot be applied retroactively
Promotional codes have no cash value
Offers may not be transferred, resold or reproduced for unauthorized use

We may cancel or refuse a promotion where it is used fraudulently, abusively or contrary to its stated conditions.

15. Gift Cards and Store Credit

Where gift cards or store credit are offered, additional conditions may be disclosed at purchase or issuance.

Gift cards and store credit:

Have no cash value except where required by law
Must be used through the applicable Urban Ummati sales channel
Must not be obtained or used fraudulently
May be cancelled where associated with fraud, payment reversal or unauthorized activity

Applicable expiry and fee restrictions will be governed by Canadian and provincial law.

16. Installation and Product Use

Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for the intended wall, room, location and installation method.

Products must be installed:

Using suitable hardware
According to any supplied instructions
On an appropriate surface
By a competent person
In compliance with building, rental or condominium requirements

Urban Ummati is not responsible for damage caused by:

Improper installation
Unsuitable mounting hardware
Installation on an unsuitable surface
Failure to follow instructions
Unauthorized alteration
Negligent handling
Exposure to moisture, excessive heat, chemicals or direct sunlight
Normal wear and tear

Where professional installation is advisable, the customer is responsible for arranging a qualified installer.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Acceptable Use of the Website

You must not use the website or services:

For an unlawful or fraudulent purpose
To violate applicable laws or regulations
To interfere with website security or operation
To introduce malware, viruses or harmful code
To obtain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
To scrape, harvest or extract information using unauthorized automated methods
To impersonate another person
To submit false payment or contact information
To infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights
To harass, threaten or harm another person
To place fraudulent orders or abuse return, refund or promotional systems

We may restrict or terminate access where these Terms are materially violated.

Graphics
Layouts
Packaging
Marketing materials
Software and website elements

This material is owned by Urban Ummati, Zaynaab Inc. or applicable licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law.

You may access and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, publish, scrape or commercially exploit website content without prior written authorization from the applicable rights holder.

Purchasing a physical product does not transfer copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights in the product design or associated content.

19. Third-Party Services

Our store is hosted and supported by third-party providers, including Shopify.

We may also use third-party providers for:

Payment processing
Shipping and fulfilment

Analytics
Advertising
Fraud prevention

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be determined according to applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

25. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Urban Ummati and Zaynaab Inc. for reasonable losses, claims or expenses arising directly from your:

Fraudulent activity
Material breach of these Terms
Infringement of another person’s rights
Deliberate misuse of our systems or services

This section does not apply to losses caused by Urban Ummati’s own negligence, misconduct or breach of law.

26. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

Urban Ummati will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

Flood
Labour disruptions
Carrier interruptions
Government restrictions

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and provide any remedies required by applicable law.

By using the website or placing an order, you agree to receive transactional electronic communications relating to:

Where a product page, checkout disclosure or written policy contains a more specific term, the more specific term will apply to that subject.

32. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any dispute will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory consumer protections available in their province or territory.
